The major factors influencing the scheme selection of crossing on the Yellow River in first-stage of Middle Route South-to-North Water Transfer Project are analyzed. These factors include the river regime, type of structure, construction method, working water head, discharge, geological conditions, earthquake, groundwork, safety, maintenance and environmental scenery. On this basis, the multiple objective priority ranking method is applied to help making decision for scheme selection. According to the principle of ranking the alternative adopting Licun route and tunnels as the crossing construction is recommended. |
