The optimization of the power barrier problem owing to water head insufficiency in flood season of the Three Gorges cascade hydropower station, including the Three Gorges station and Gezhouba station, is studied in depth and the requirements of the loads of their electric power system and their multiple uses are also considered by using modern system engineering theory as the guiding ideology and from the view of the whole cascade. The concepts of static optimization and dynamic optimization on the power-barrier problems of cascade power stations are given out, a lot of comparative computation and analyses are made, and a number of valuable results are also obtained. |
