Abstract:InordertorelievethepressureoficefloodcandsummerfloodontrolinJiziwanoftheYellowRiver,the
icefloodsandsummerfloodweredivertedintothenorthernmarginofHobqDesert.Theecologicalpatternofthe
underlying surface changed , and the regionalhydrologicalcycle was also affected, especially the water
consumptionprocessoftheunderlyingsurface.Inordertodeeplyclarifytheecologicalpatternandthedrivingfac
torsofwaterconsumptionchangeinthenorthernmarginofHobqDesert ,thispaperanalyzedtheevolutioncharac
teristicsofecologicalpatternbeforeandafterwatertransferusingGFimages.Thespatio - temporalvariationmecha
nism ofregionalwaterconsumptionwaselaboratedbyusingremotesensingevapotranspirationcouplingtheory ,and
thecorrelationdegreebetweenmeteorologicalfactors (temperature,rainfall,humidityandwindspeed)andre
gionalwaterconsumptionwasfurtherevaluatedunderthisbackground.Theresultsshowthat :(1)theiceflood
andsummerfloodoftheYellowRiversignificantlyaffectedtheecologicalpatternofthenorthernmarginofHobq
Desert.Afterwatertransfer,theproportionofsandylandareadecreasedfrom72.5% to15.8%,andtheproportion
oflakeandwetlandareaincreasedfromzeroto27.5% and4.5%,respectively.(2)Theerrorsoflandsurfacee
vapotranspirationandwatersurfaceevaporationcalculatedbasedontheMETRICmodelandDaltonevaporationthe
oryare9.2% and9.3%,respectively.Theresultsofregionalwaterconsumptionhavehighreliability.Beforewater
transfer (2013),atthebeginningofwatertransfer(2016)andafterwatertransfer(2020),theaverageevapo
transpirationincropgrowingseason(April - October)was156.22mm,231.12mmand528.58mm,respectively,
andtheinfluenceofwatertransferonregionalwaterconsumptioncontinuedtoincreaseduringtransitseason.(3)
TheicefloodandsummerfloodoftheYellowRiverchangedthecorrelationbetweenevapotranspirationandmeteoro
logical factors (temperature, rainfall, wind speed, humidity). The positive correlation between
evapotranspirationandtemperatureandhumiditycontinuedtoincrease ,andtheproportionofpositivecorrelation
areasincreasedfrom73% and28% beforewatertransferto95% and76%,respectively.
