                  Abstract:Withtheglobalwarming,theice - rockavalanchesandtheirdisasterchainshavebecomeacurrentre
                  searchhotspot.Sinceice - rockavalanchesusuallyoccurinhighmountainareas ,insufficientmonitoringandmodel
                  ingtoolshavemadeitdifficulttocarryoutstudiesandhaveyieldedfewresults.TheYarlungZangboRiverBasinin
                  southeasternTibetisahigh - incidenceareaofice - rockavalanchedisastersinChina.Itisalsothecorezoneofhy
                  dropowerdevelopment.Ice?rockstabilityposesaseriousthreattotheconstructionandoperationofwaterprojects
                  andthesafetyofthepeople.Onthebasisofcomprehensivereviewsofthecurrentstatusofresearchbyscholars,
                  wesummarizedtheice - rockavalancheeventswithrelevantrecordsinSoutheastTibetinthepast70years.Were
                  finedtheice - rockavalanchedisasterthroughin - depthinvestigationandanalysis ,andexploredthespatialandtem
                  poraldistributionpatternofice - rockavalanchedisastersintheregion.Further,theformationmechanismofice - rock
                  avalancheshasbeenpreliminarilyrevealedaccordingtotheuniquegeographicalcharacteristicsofYarlungZangbo
                  RiverBasin ,andtheice - rockavalanchedisasterchainsintheregionwereclassifiedintofourtypes,namely,
                  debrisflowtype,blocked - riverdammingtype,glacial - lakeoutbursttypeandfailuretypeofreservoir - dam.On
                  thisbasis ,thecurrentstatusofice - rockavalanchehazardsduring1999—2023wasquantitativelyanalyzedbased
                  ontheCiteSpaceandtheWebofScienceCoreCollection,revealingtheresearchhotspotsandfuturedevelopment
                  trendsindifferentperiods.Theresultsofthestudyprovideausefulreferenceforresearchersstudyingice - rockava
                  lanchedisastersandforthoseinvolvedindisasterpreventionandmitigationofmajorprojectsinsoutheastTibet.
