                  Abstract:Duringtheconstructionofembankmentandsubgradeundernegativetemperatureinwinter,thecom
                  pactionperformanceofthematerialswillbereducedduetoshort - termfreezingorfreezing - thaw ,whichwillleadto
                  frostheave,thawcollapse,crackingandotherdiseases.Theprocessofconventionalcoveringinsulationmeasure
                  iscomplex,whichmakesitdifficulttoachievecontinuousconstructioninnegativetemperature,andlikelytoex
                  tendtheconstructionperiod.Phasechangematerials(PCM)providepossibilitytoimprovethefrostresistanceand
                  ensuretheconstructiontimeinwinter.However ,thehighcontentofPCM affectsthemechanicalpropertiesofsoil.
                  Therefore,thepaperproposedacombinedanti - freezingandtemperaturecontrolmeasureofmixingPCM andloose -
                  covering.Usingtheoriginalupperloose - coveringprocessintheconstruction ,reducedthePCM contentandthe
                  constructioninterferenceasmuchaspossible,andsolvedthesurfaceanti - freezingproblem ofthesoilduringthe
                  negativetemperatureconstructionexposureperiod.First,afiniteelementnumericalmodelofconstructionphase
                  changeheattransferconsideringtheupperloose - coveringwasestablished,andthevalidityofthemodelwasveri
                  fied.Then ,theinfluenceofdifferentloose - coveringthicknessandPCM contentonthetemperaturecontroleffect
                  ofPCM inwinterconstructionwasquantitativelyanalyzed ,andtheestimationmethodofeffectiveconstructiontime
                  ofPCM wasproposed.Finally ,thesuggestionofanti - freezingandtemperaturecontrolmeasureswasgiven.The
                  2% PCM contentand9.6cmloose - coveringthicknesscanmeettherequirementsoftemperaturecontrol.Thisstudy
                  providesanewtechnicalwaytosolvetheanti - freezingandtemperaturecontrolproblemduringtheconstructionin
                  coldregionsinwinter.
