                  Abstract:Inordertosolvetheproblemthatthetraditionalgrilledamiseasytobedamagedbytheimpactofdebris
                  flow,anovelDampingEnergyDissipationDebrisFlowGrilleDam(DEDDFGD)isproposed,anditsstructural
                  compositionandworkingprincipleareinterpreted.Basedontheforcemethod ,deformationcompatibilityequation
                  andWinklerelasticfoundationbeamtheory ,themechanicalcalculationmodelofeachcomponentintheenergydis
                  sipationandresetstageofthenovelstructureisestablished ,andthecalculationmethodoftheburieddepthofthe
                  columnisgiven.Themechanicalpropertiesofthenovelstructurewereanalyzedbyfiniteelementsoftware ,andthe
                  theoreticalandsimulatedvalueswerecompared.Theresultsshowthat :(1)ThenovelDEDDFGDisproposedon
                  thebasisofflexibleenergydissipationconcept ,whichconsumestheimpactenergyofdebrisflowthroughtheup
                  streamgrilleandthedampingenergydissipationbrace.Comparedwiththetraditionaldebrisflowgrilledam ,the
                  impactresistancepowerisgreatlyimproved.(2)TheforceofnovelDEDDFGDisdividedintotwostages:energy
                  dissipationandreset.Thedeformationcoordinationintheenergydissipationstagemakestheinternalforceofthe
                  beambetweenthesidecolumnandthemiddlecolumnchangesharplyattheendoftheslidingbearing,which
                  shouldbeconsideredinthedesign.Intheresetstage ,theinternalforceofthetopverticalbarandthecrossbeam
                  isgreaterthanthatofotherlayers,whichshouldbecheckedemphatically.(3)Thetheoreticalcalculationisbasi
                  callyconsistentwiththeinternalforcechangetrendofeachcomponentofthesimulation ,whichverifiesthereliabil
                  ityofthecalculationmethodinthispaper.Theresultscanprovideatheoreticalbasisfortheapplicationofthenovel
                  DEDDFGD.
