                           Preparation of self-healing cell bodies of cement mortar and research

                   Abstract: In order to obtain better self-healing properties of cement mortar, a new method for ce⁃
                   ment-based mortar self-repairing is proposed through experimental study. In the experiment,cement clinker
                   was used as the self-healing material, taking polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as the outer membrane, and si⁃
                   lane coupling agent (KH550) as the bridge between the two materials, which can be combined into a
                   self-dissolving cell-like body in an ethanol environment. A field electron microscope and an energy spec⁃
                   trometer were used to confirm that the surface of the cement clinker was covered with a PVP film to form
                   a cell-like appearance structure. A laser particle size analyzer was used to determine the cell-like body par⁃
                   ticle size gradation and the thickness of the PVP outer envelope. The cell-like body particle size gradation
                   conformed to the national standard, and the outer envelope gradually increased with the addition of PVP,
                   varying from 3.82μm to 9.3μm. The experimental results show that the compressive strength recovery of sam⁃
                   ples containing cell-like bodies is greater than that of ordinary samples, and the maximum is 22% higher
                   after 28 days of curing. The degree of damage also showed a greater drop after the addition of cell-like
                   bodies. The optimal recovery period of the sample with the addition of cell-like bodies is gradually delayed
                   as the thickness of the outer envelope increases. The internal pore composition of the added cell-like sam⁃
                   ple is more optimized than the ordinary sample.
