                  Abstract:Theoppositionrelationshipbetweentheidentityandoppositionitemsinwaterresourcesetpairsystemis
                  theconcentratedreflectionofthedialecticalthinkingofwaterresourcesetpairanalysis.Itisalsothecornerstoneof
                  buildingconnectionnumberofsetpairsystem.Throughtheanalysisofthecorrespondingrelationshipbetweenthe
                  commonfivetypesofoppositionrelationshipconceptanalysisandtheirapplications ,andtheuncertaintyanalysisof
                  waterresourcessetpairforthefivetypesofoppositerelationshiptothesystem differenceitems ,wehavegained
                  someunderstandingofthecomplexandprofoundmeaningoftheoppositerelationshipasfollows.Thecommonoppo
                  sitesofinverseratio ,mutualexclusion,positiveandnegativetype,complementarytypeandvirtualandrealtype
                  inthewaterresourcessetpairsystemcanbegenerated,analyzedandcalculatedbyfuzzy,random,fluctuation,
                  distributionandexistenceuncertaintyvariablesrespectively.Inthesetpairsystem,themostbasicoppositionrela
                  tionshipsaretheinverseandmutuallyexclusiveopposition ,andthecorrespondingfuzzinessandrandomnessrefer
                  totheuncertaintyintermsofthecontent,nature,andnumberofresultsoftheeventoccurrence.Thechangeof
                  theuncertaintyofthedifferenceitemisthecauseofthechangeforthethreekindsofrelationsbetweenthesame ,
                  differentandoppositeintheconnectionnumber,andalsoisatypicalexpansionofthedialecticalthinkingof“one
                  dividedintothree”,reflectingthetransformationlawfromquantitativechangetoqualitativechange.Fuzzyuncer
                  taintyisthemostcommonofthefivetypesofuncertaintycharacterizedbydifferenceterms ,andtheoperationof
                  fuzzyuncertaintyvariablecanbeconvertedintotheoperationofrandomuncertaintyvariablethroughrandomsimula
                  tiontechnology.Theanalysisoffuzzyandrandom uncertaintyfocusesontheanalysisofphysicalconnotationand
                  mathematicalquantitativecalculationrespectively ,whichreflectsthatthedisciplineofwaterresourcesetpairanal
                  ysisbelongstothefieldofcomputationalthinking,andithasobviousenlighteningandguidingsignificanceforfur
                  therpromotingthedevelopmentoffuzzyhydrology ,stochastichydrology,waterresourcessetpairanalysis,and
                  structuralwaterresourcesscience.
